The Departments of Instrumentation and Control Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering, at the National Institute of Technology – Tiruchi (NIT-T), will be organising a five-day faculty upgradation programme (FUP) in association with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Thiruvananthapuram, from August 3 to 7.According to a press release, the FUP will be conducted at NIT-T on the theme ‘NextGen Cyber Forensics Tools and Technologies.’ It is designed to empower faculty members—particularly from Tier-II and Tier-III engineering institutions—to effectively teach emerging cyber forensics concepts, mentor student projects, and undertake impactful research in this domain.The sessions will be delivered by experts from NIT-T and C-DAC. There is no registration fee for participation. Selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis for a maximum of 50 participants. A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the programme.
