MANILA, Philippines— National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag told the impeachment court on Tuesday that they have persons of interest (POIs) that might point to Vice President Sara Duterte’s alleged hitman but he refused to name them, citing their ongoing investigation.

Matibag was called to the witness stand by the House prosecution team to testify on Duterte’s threat to kill President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
