MANILA, Philippines – National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag said the agency is still in the process of investigating the identity of the alleged hitman whom Vice President Sara Duterte hired to kill President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Taking the witness stand of the impeachment court on Tuesday, July 21, Matibag said the NBI has “persons of interest” who can help lead them to the actual assassin whom the Vice President allegedly spoke with.
