Lucy writes… I have just turned 60 and my husband and I don’t have a huge pension pot and we are not sure what to do. I would like to retire at 67 and initially rent out our home and move around and live somewhere cheaper if health permits.

Alina Khan, the i Paper’s money coach reporter responds… After receiving your email and some back and forth, you told me you have £110,000 in your pension and your husband has approximately £60,000. You also told me you have £137,000 in savings and no mortgage on your house which is worth about £800,000.
