Chelsea FC is willing to part ways with striker Nicolas Jackson for a “substantial” fee this summer. The club reportedly wants at least £60 million for the 25-year-old Senegalese international, nearly double the £32 million they paid Villarreal back in 2023.
The oversupply problem Chelsea can’t outrun
Chelsea’s forward line currently includes Nicolas Jackson, Emmanuel Emegha, Liam Delap, João Pedro, David Datro Fofana, and Marc Guiu. Six strikers. One position.
Jackson spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Bayern Munich, where the German club paid a £13 million loan fee but ultimately declined the £70 million purchase option attached to the deal. Bayern looked at the price tag, looked at the player, and walked.
Now Jackson returns to Stamford Bridge under new manager Xabi Alonso, who already has a crowded attacking roster. The player himself has expressed a desire to stay and compete for a starting spot.
