Lewis Pullman is set to star opposite Julia Garner in the upcoming Apple TV series “Guilty Creatures,” Variety has learned.
The show, with Garner as a lead and executive producer, was announced on July 6. It is an adaptation of the Mikita Brottman true crime book “Guilty Creatures: Sex, God, and Murder in Tallahassee, Florida.”
The logline for the show states that the series, “delves into the psyche of a torrid romance and subsequent act of murder between two young, adulterous but God-fearing lovers, unraveling their complex lives and the emotional toll of living as killers for 18 years.”
This is Pullman’s second “Creature” based title in recent times. He just starred in the Netflix original film “Remarkably Bright Creatures,” which was itself based on the book of the same name by Shelby Van Pelt. Pullman is also known for his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring as Sentry in “Thunderbolts.” He will reprise that tole in “Avengers: Doomsday.” His other credits include the Apple series “Lessons in Chemistry,” Amazon’s “Outer Range,” and films like “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Salem’s Lot.” He will be seen next year in “Spaceballs: The New One,” starring alongside his father, Bill Pullman.
