CyrusOne has announced plans to build a new $500 million data center campus in Castroville, San Antonio.
Per a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the data center will be located at 3397 US Highway 90 West.

Construction of the 460,000 sq ft (42,735 sqm) facility, dubbed SAT14A, is expected to commence in December of this year and be completed by June 2027. No information about the data center’s expected capacity was detailed, with the filing noting that no tenant has been assigned to the Castroville facility.
SAT14A will be the company’s sixth data center in the San Antonio region and its 11th overall in the state of Texas. The company’s other facilities in San Antonio are the 9MW SAT1 at 9999 Westover Hills Blvd, the 36MW campus spanning SAT2-SAT3 at 9554 Westover Hills Blvd and SAT4 at 9655 Raba Drive, and the 18MW SAT5 - SAT6 at 14719 Omicron Drive.
