Digital wallets are conveniently displacing them. The riders themselves believe the wallets make more sense. Driven by persistent cash scarcity in areas commercial banks are not available, changing consumer habits, and a fast-evolving digital banking landscape, thousands of riders nationwide now routinely accept mobile bank transfers for daily commutes .
