From financial flexes to bold declarations, Nonhle Thema's rants redefined what it means to be an influencer in Mzansi.
Former TV presenter and media personality Nonhle Thema has sent social media into overdrive after claiming she single-handedly introduced Twitter (now X) to South Africans.
Speaking during a recent sit-down interview on Thando Thabethe’s radio show on 947, the former "O-Access" and "V-Entertainment" star asserted that she brought the platform home to Mzansi after experiencing it in the United States (US), prompting local fans to join in massive numbers just to follow her.
She didn't stop there. Thema also shared that her family was one of the first Black families to settle in the upscale Johannesburg suburb of Bryanston in 1990.
The online reaction was instant, loud and thoroughly divided.
