Halton has secured billions of dollars from developers to build infrastructure that will support thousands of new homes planned by the region’s municipalities of Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville.
The money will be used to expand water treatment and wastewater plants, as well as to build roads, allowing the municipalities not only to reach their provincial goal of building 92,000 homes by 2031, but also to support growth beyond that date.
