It’s been in the works for more than 30 years, will cost $500 million in infrastructure and be home to around 20,000 Hamiltonians.
Peacocke is a 740-hectare residential development on the city’s south side that will eventually have around 10,000 new properties.
The deputy mayor calls it the “most significant growth area” in the region’s history.
