Southern England could see the return of heatwave conditions approaching 30C, athough Scotland and Northern Ireland will stay comfortable at around 23°C. With the high temperatures returning, many people will be after an ice-cold drink to help cool them down.‌One such drink that's been popular with Brits this summer is Blank Street's Iced Blondie Latte, which is a viral, dessert-inspired seasonal coffee that's taken social media by storm. The drink is designed to capture the taste of a liquid blondie brownie or rich, salted butter caramel sweet, which goes some way to explaining its massive appeal.‌However, at £4-£5 a pop, treating yourself to one on a regular basis isn't exactly easy on the wallet.‌Many people also might not have a Blank Street near them. However, if you don't, then there's no need to fret as one influencer has shared how to whip up your own version at home – and it's a fraction of the cost too.Charlie Hopper, who has built up over 27,000 followers on Instagram, is well known for her home and lifestyle content. In one of her latest reels, she showed fans how to make the drink, calling it "one of the nicest at-home coffees I've ever made".Charlie revealed she made the drink using instant coffee, though noted you could swap in a shot from a coffee machine if you'd rather. "I'm sure it'll taste the same," she said.‌The social media star mixed two teaspoons of instant coffee with a teaspoon of brown sugar and a dollop of Biscoff spread.Content cannot be displayed without consentSpeaking about the latter ingredient, she said: "This is what makes it tastes like the Blank Street one."‌Charlie threw all of these together in a mug and stirred with hot water until fully combined and silky smooth. She then grabbed another cup, loading it up with ice and oat milk, though any cow's milk would likely do the job just as well. Charlie revealed she used Oatly Barista Oat Milk, before adding the coffee mixture from earlier containing the Biscoff. She also included some vanilla cold foam in the recipe. To make this, she used the same mug as before, whisking together a small amount of oat milk with a splash of vanilla syrup.‌"Make sure you have a good handheld milk frother, otherwise you won't get a good whisk," mentioned Charlie. The influencer also disclosed that numerous followers had recommended replacing oat milk with cream, as it creates an even better froth. "So let me know if you've tried that," she added.Charlie completed the drink by pouring the vanilla cold foam over the top, concluding: "You've got yourself the perfect iced blonde latte with vanilla cold foam."‌The post proved hugely popular with viewers, racking up more than 1,500 likes. One person exclaimed: "I'm going to have to try."While another echoed: "Can wait to try this."Article continues belowA third chimed in: "This looks amazing."As a fourth who had already given it a go added: "Just tried this, wow it's so good!"
