Springbok speedster Kurt-Lee Arendse had another impressive performance against Wales in the third Nations Championship match.
Kurt-Lee Arendse put in another fine performance against Wales on Saturday to take another step closer to cementing his place in the Springbok starting XV ahead of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series next month.
The pacey winger scored a try in the 43-0 victory at Kings Park, underlining his eye for the tryline, but his overall play, especially under the high ball, was equally impressive.
With the race for places heating up among the Bok wingers, and perhaps only Cheslin Kolbe assured of his spot, Arendse knows it will take more strong performances to stay in contention for the Greatest Rivalry. Canan Moodie, Edwill van der Merwe, Ethan Hooker and Jaco Williams are the other speedsters contesting for a place.
“The Greatest Rivalry will be massive and to be part of it will be special,” the Paarl-born World Cup winner said.
