On Monday, July 20, another humanitarian convoy worth nearly 160,000 euros, assembled thanks to donations from Latvian residents, will depart from Riga for Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by LSM.
It is noted that since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, fundraising for Ukraine has been ongoing on the Ziedot.lv platform. Every month, the donations collected from Latvian residents and Latvian companies are used to purchase vehicles, equipment, and supplies for the Ukrainian army and volunteers.
The July humanitarian convoy will depart from the Ziedot.lv compound in Riga on Monday morning. The aid will include 14 vehicles: off-road vehicles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a fuel tanker for the Nemesis unit of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, and an ambulance for a hospital in Kyiv.
All vehicles are loaded with essential humanitarian aid, including generators, tactical equipment for the unit led by Latvian combat medic Sarmīte Cīrule, Starlink kits, computers, and televisions for drone control centers.
