People buy cars for different reasons—whether for daily driving, fulfilling a lifelong dream, or simply as a reward for their hard work. Owning a vehicle remains one of the top goals many Filipinos aspire to achieve, especially once they have the means to do so. In 2025, according to data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (Campi) and Truck Manufacturers Association, vehicle sales in the country reached 491,395 units. Breaking down the figures by vehicle type, passenger cars recorded 92,924 units sold, while Asian utility vehicles and multipurpose vehicles logged 87,731 units.
