Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci criticized President Donald Trump’s supporters, arguing that political reactions would have been far more intense if a Democratic president faced similar controversies.
Scaramucci Calls Out Trump Supporters
On Saturday, Scaramucci criticized Trump’s allies in a post on X, arguing that political reactions depend heavily on which party is in power.
"Obama wore a tan suit and Fox News set their hair on fire," Scaramucci wrote, referring to the criticism of former President Barack Obama faced in 2014 over wearing a tan suit during a White House appearance.
He then asked supporters to imagine Obama facing controversies involving major policy decisions and financial scrutiny.
