Fourteen people have died and six others were injured in two separate road crashes in Limpopo's Sekhukhune District.
Limpopo Transport and Community Safety MEC Susani Violet Mathye has expressed sadness following two fatal crashes that claimed 14 lives in the Sekhukhune District.
The first crash occurred on the R555 between Stoffberg and Rossenkraal in the Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality.
The collision involved a Volkswagen Polo, a combi and a truck. Five people died at the scene. Authorities said reckless driving cannot be ruled out, while investigations into the cause of the crash are under way.
The second crash took place on Road D4370 between Phokwane and Mamphogo in the Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality.
