British dual nationals will be required to present either a British passport or the certificate of entitlement with their second passport to enter Britain from 25 February 2026 due to the roll out of the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system. According to the UK Home Office, both documents take several weeks to obtain, with a British passport costs around 100 GBP for an adult and the certificate of entitlement costs 589 GBP.
