ORLANDO — Thirty-day mortality of injured patients with hemorrhagic shock did not differ based on use of whole blood vs. blood components in prehospital transfusion, according to results presented here.In addition to being presented at the American Thoracic Society International Conference, these findings were simultaneously published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
