Still deciding what to do for Mandela Day? Corlett Drive community invites volunteers to make a difference

Volunteers are invited to join Corlett Drive’s community clean-up and spend 67 minutes making a local difference.

For those still deciding how to spend their 67 minutes for Mandela Day, the Corlett Drive community is offering an opportunity to get involved in a hands-on neighbourhood clean-up.

Residents, businesses and volunteers will gather on Saturday, July 18, to help restore and maintain the area as part of an initiative led by the Corlett Drive Improvement Precinct (CDIP).

The volunteer-led organisation has already established daily cleaning teams along the stretch from Rudd Road to the M1 and brought in security as part of efforts to improve the precinct.

The Mandela Day clean-up aims to encourage more people to take ownership of their surroundings and demonstrate how small acts of service can create lasting change.
