After finalizing a deal worth approximately £34 million for Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, the Gunners are now accelerating their pursuit of Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers, widely considered their top transfer target this window.
The Tzolis deal sets the table
The Tzolis transfer, agreed at around £34 million (€40 million), fills an immediate gap left by Leandro Trossard’s departure to Besiktas. The 24-year-old Greece international is technically making a return to English football, having previously played for Norwich City before his move to Belgium.
Rogers: from £8 million bargain to nine-figure target
Morgan Rogers joined Aston Villa from Middlesbrough in February 2024 for £8 million. Today, speculated transfer fees for the 23-year-old range between £70 million and £130 million, with market valuations placing him around the €90 million mark.
