At around 3:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, Russian troops launched guided aerial bombs strikes on the central part of Sumy and its outskirts.
According to Ukrinform, Artem Kobzar, the acting mayor of Sumy, reported this on Facebook.
According to him, “today at around 3:00 a.m., the enemy reportedly launched five guided airstrikes on the central part and outskirts of the city.”
As a result of the strikes, more than 100 windows were shattered in an apartment building. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
All relevant services are working on the ground. An assessment of the area and cleanup efforts following the enemy attack are underway.
