Russian forces carried out overnight attacks on Ukraine's Sumy region, using guided aerial bombs against residential areas in the city of Sumy and striking civilian infrastructure in the town of Nedryhailiv with a drone. Several people were injured.
According to Ukrinform, Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Hryhorov announced the attacks on Telegram.
"Another night of enemy attacks in the Sumy region. In Sumy, Russian forces struck a residential area on the outskirts of the city with guided aerial bombs. Medical personnel are providing assistance to the injured," Hryhorov said.
He added that a strike drone hit a civilian infrastructure facility in Nedryhailiv, causing a fire at the impact site.
