COMMUNITY organisations and businesses have joined forces with the POST for Mandela Day to provide warmth, dignity and joy to vulnerable children and physically and mentally challenged adults during one of the coldest winters in recent years.
This joint effort will see hundreds of blankets, healthcare packs, hygiene items, winter accessories, hot meals and party packs distributed to 250 children in Frasers, Tongaat, and residents at the Wentworth Cheshire Homes.
The partners include the DSK Group, Ramsamy International, Chinmaya Mission and Venk-Pac.
DSK Group founder, Daniel Chettiar, donated blankets, hats, gloves and party packs.
