Amid Oppo’s restructuring plans that have led to the shutdown of OnePlus in global markets, Realme has officially confirmed it will exit the China market to focus on global markets instead.

OnePlus officially shuts down in the US and Europe, but not India (yet)

In a post on Weibo, Realme’s Shen Qi explains that Realme will “[press] the pause button” in China, “concentrating” on overseas markets.

Realme is already sold in portions of Europe, and that will apparently be the focus going forward. A report earlier this week claims that Oppo is focusing Realme on the Nordic region of Europe, including countries including Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
