The Presidential Aspirant of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in the 2027 general elections, Engr. (Dr.) Yakubu Mohammed Kingsley (YMK)), addressing members of the leadership of the YMK Nigeria Project Movement.
The presidential aspirant of the Peoples Redemption Party in the 2027 general elections, Yakubu Kingsley, has urged eligible Nigerians to register in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise.
He warned that failure to do so would deny them the opportunity to vote in the next general elections.
Kingsley made the appeal in a communiqué issued on Thursday after an emergency meeting of the leadership of the YMK Nigeria Project Movement, expressing concern over what he described as the low turnout of eligible Nigerians for the registration exercise despite its extension by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
INEC had extended the exercise by two weeks and announced that it would now end on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
