The opposition APC in the state described the reported upward review of the contract as "scandalous" and "criminal."

The Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Campaign Council has accused the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke of inflating the cost of the Ede Airport project by more than ₦30billion.

The opposition APC in the state described the reported upward review of the contract as "scandalous" and "criminal."

In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director General of the Council, Hon. Oluwole Oke, the opposition campaign organisation alleged that the airport project's contract sum had been increased from an initial ₦99.5billion to about ₦130billion without adequate explanation.

The council also alleged that a significant portion of the revised contract sum had already been paid to the contractor, Sowie Tee Global Services Limited, despite claims that the level of work done on the project does not justify the amount allegedly disbursed.
