Join Cape Town's culinary celebration this November, where the city's best chefs serve up signature dishes without the wait, all while surrounded by music and the stunning backdrop of the Mother City.

There is a table in Cape Town that takes six weeks to book. This November, the same kitchen will hand you its signature dish in about four minutes.

That is the promise at the heart of Taste of Cape Town, the two-day food and lifestyle festival arriving at Green Point Cricket Club on 28 and 29 November 2026. One ticket buys entry to a ground where twelve of the city's hardest reservations cook side by side in the open, with eleven hours of trading each day to taste your way through them.

No waiting list. No kitchen door. The chef finishes your plate an arm's length from where you stand. The festival carries serious lineage. The Taste series has filled grounds in more than 13 cities, from London to Paris, São Paulo and Dubai, and it arrives in the Mother City under the exclusive South African licence held by The Allure Group through IMG.

The Cape Town edition is built on a single idea: Feed Every Sense. Five zones, one for each sense, carry guests from the smell of wood fire at the gate to the festival's signature moment, the Sundown Ritual, when the music pauses, the whole ground turns west, and thousands of glasses rise together as the sun touches Signal Hill.
