Cryptocurrency bettors raised the odds of U.S.-Iran peace talks by the end of the month after President Donald Trump signaled Tehran’s willingness to negotiate amid heightened tensions.
Odds Increase Over 24 Hours
Polygon (CRYPTO: POL)-based Polyamarket currently assigns a 25% chance of the next round of talks by July 31, up from 20% the day before. The odds of the talks happening by Aug. 31 were noticeably higher at 50%.
Over $6.6 million has been wagered on the outcome. An in-person diplomatic meeting or negotiating round on U.S.-Iran relations, involving senior representatives from both countries, would qualify for resolution.
