Advanced Info Service (AIS) has partnered with Bangkok Land to transform the Muang Thong Thani area into Thailand's next smart economic district.The two companies forged a strategic partnership to build an intelligent digital infrastructure across more than 4,000 rai of Muang Thong Thani, positioning one of Thailand's largest mixed-use developments as a next-generation smart, connected city and a future economic hub powered by advanced connectivity, artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven urban management.

The collaboration reflects a growing trend among property developers and telecom operators to integrate digital technologies into large-scale urban developments as Thailand seeks to strengthen its digital economy and improve the competitiveness of its cities.

Pratthana Leelapanang, chief executive of AIS, said the initiative aims to transform Muang Thong Thani from Thailand's premier venue for exhibitions, conventions and entertainment into a fully integrated urban area where residential communities, commercial districts, educational institutions, public services and business facilities are seamlessly connected through digital infrastructure.
