Police in the Western Cape are offering a cash reward of up to R50 000 to anyone who has information that can assist them with a murder investigation.
Police spokesperson Thembakazi Mpendukana said Bashira Issaka, 35, a Ghanaian national, was shot and killed inside his red container business premises on June 29.
Mpendukana said it's suspected that the assailants were demanding a protection fee from him.
"Nyanga police members responded to a shooting incident on June 29, 2026, at about 15:45 in which Bashira Issaka, 35, a male Ghanaian national was shot and killed inside his red container business premise by suspects who were demanding protection fee from him.
