In downtown Kherson, the building of the regional local history museum and its historic display cases have been damaged by attacks from Russian FPV drones.
According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Local History Museum reported this on Facebook.
It is noted that the Russian strikes caused a fire in the museum’s service rooms.
“The building itself and the unique antique display cases from the early 20th century were damaged. Made of natural wood, they had retained the warmth of the hands of several generations of museum workers for 120 years and were eventually to become exhibits themselves,” the post reads.
The museum added that the collections, which were evacuated to safe locations in time, were not damaged.
