A nighttime Russian drone attack on Kherson sparked fires at several retail outlets, as well as on the roof of a residential building and in an outbuilding.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Yaroslav Shanko, Head of the Kherson City Military Administration.

“Russian invaders are trying to inflict as much damage as possible on Kherson residents by destroying their businesses, burning down shops with drones and attacking logistics routes. People are losing their jobs, their incomes and, consequently, their ability to provide for their families,” Shanko wrote.

According to him, the community records daily instances of the Russian army’s blatant terror. In particular, another drone attack destroyed one of the retail outlets in Kherson’s Dniprovskyi district. A fire broke out after the strike, destroying all the equipment and merchandise.

Meanwhile, Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said on Facebook that Russian forces attacked Kherson’s Central district with a drone overnight. The drone strike sparked a large fire that completely destroyed several retail outlets. Emergency crews extinguished the blaze, and no casualties were reported.
