In a recent repeat episode of Our Farm Next Door, Clive also reflected on his future at Ravenseat Farm and passing the baton over to his kids.‌Since then, Reuben has been focusing on building his own livelihood, setting up a business in groundworks and plant hire, and taking on the kind of practical, hands-on jobs that fit naturally with his upbringing in the Yorkshire Dales.The latest repeat instalment expanded its focus to include Reuben’s younger brother Miles, who featured prominently as he spoke about wanting to become more involved in Reuben’s work.‌Miles suggested he’s reaching the point where he needs to start shaping his own future and sees his brother’s growing company as an opportunity to learn more skills and take on a bigger role.However, Miles made it clear that his situation is more complicated than simply joining Reuben full-time. He explained that, while he is keen to support his brother and get stuck into the “digging side” of the job, he is also increasingly needed at home on the family farm.In an emotional moment, Miles told viewers his dad, Clive, is “slowing down” and that reality has pushed him to take on more responsibility day to day.‌Reflecting on the work he has been doing, Miles spoke about how much he enjoyed growing up on the farm and described some of the jobs he learned early on.He said his role has now shifted towards helping more with the cows and sheep, showing how his workload has evolved as he’s grown older.‌He said to the camera, "I really enjoy growing up on the farm. One of my jobs was doing chickens, collecting the eggs, looking after them, feeding them. I'm doing more work with the cows and sheep at the moment."I've talked to Reuben about the digging side and me helping more and getting more involved with his company, which I wouldn't mind at all."But I've got to balance it because you know, Dad's getting on and he's slowing down a bit.
