Reuben Owen has been sharing the highs and lows of his profession on Channel 5 series Life in the Dales16:24, 30 Jun 2026Reuben Owen has issued a “sad” update on the future of Life in the Dales.‌The young farmer has been starring in his own Channel 5 series since 2024, after rising to fame with his parents, Amanda and Clive, in Our Yorkshire Farm.‌Reuben now shares the highs and lows of his business in Swaledale, North Yorkshire, alongside girlfriend Jess, friends Sonny and Capper, alongside appearances from Clive and his brothers Myles and Sid.‌The final episode of this season of Life in the Dales airs on Tuesday, June 30, with Reuben confirming the news on social media.The Life in the Dales team shared on social media: “Can’t believe it’s the last episode of the series… where have the last 8 weeks gone?‌“It’s been an incredible series, and we’ve been genuinely blown away by all the lovely comments and support you’ve given us along the way.“Tonight’s episode is all about lambing, one of the busiest, most emotional and rewarding times in the farming calendar.“Hope you all enjoy it, we’ll be back soon! Remember you can catch up on all the series do far at www.channel5.com.”‌Several fans issued pleas for another series, with one replying: “We want more we want more I absolutely love this series.”Another said: “Oh man. The only remaining "Must See TV".”‌This series has been particularly emotional so far, with Jess and Reuben finding themselves in concerning situations thanks to the troubling weather, while Sonny and Capper have tearfully opened up about their mental health and the devastating deaths of loved ones.The two friends later took to social media to share their gratitude for fans offering their support and donating to a men’s mental health charity, with Capper saying: “I hope you all enjoyed watching our show on Tuesday night, it was a hard one to film but it’s been well-worth doing.‌“The positive feedback that we’ve had has been unreal.”He went on: “It struck a chord, it really did.
