Reuben Owen and his girlfriend Jess have shared an update on life on the farm as the latest series of Life in the Dales came to an end.10:45, 14 Jul 2026Reuben Owen and his girlfriend Jess have shared an update with fans as filming on the latest series of Life in the Dales came to an end.The couple star on the Channel 5 programme after Reuben rose to fame with his parents Amanda and Clive on Our Yorkshire Farm.They share the highs and lows of Reuben’s machinery business at Swaledale, and life on Jess’ family farm, Brough Castle.The latest series of Life in the Dales has been particularly emotional, with fears for livestock on the farms and Reuben’s friends Capper and Sonny opening up about their mental health after facing devastating losses.Reuben then left fans gutted when the programme came to an end, but he’s now shared an update with some snaps on Instagram.He wrote: “Some photos helping @jessica.ellwood1 with first cut silage #mygirlfriendissobeautiful.”Among the comments from fans, Jess added: “We have been super busy! Lovely post, love you so much.”One fan meanwhile replied: “Beautiful couple,” while another said: “I love watching you two grow, your such a gorgeous couple.”Another wrote: “You are both so lovely, hardworking, kind, genuine and everyone must be so proud of you.
