The Thoothukudi South police have arrested two persons for allegedly murdering a meat shop worker.Police said M. Karuppasamy, 33, of Anna Nagar had prior enmity with M. Venkatesh, 24 of the same area. When Karuppasamy, a meat shop worker, was standing near his house on July 9, Venkatesh and his friend M. Aravindan, 21, of nearby Nikilesan Nagar allegedly attacked him with stones.With serious bleeding injuries, Karuppasamy was admitted to Thoothukudi Government Medical College Hospital where he died on Tuesday.Thoothukudi South Police have arrested Venkatesh and Aravindan.
