The Thalamuthu Nagar police are on the lookout for three persons who hacked to death a pork vendor.Police said pork vendor M. Chandrasekar, 45, of Teres Nagar near Thalamuthu Nagar and three of his friends assaulted three others when the victims picked up argument with the foursome on Monday night. After being beaten up, the trio left the spot.After a few minutes, the trio returned to the spot with weapons and hacked Chandrasekar, who was standing alone. With serious cut injuries, he was rushed to the Thoothukudi Government Medical College Hospital where he died on Tuesday.Thalamuthu Nagar police are investigating.
