Egyptian fraudsters made more than $520,000 by selling forged medical certificates required for marriage under a presidential health initiative.

Nineteen suspects were arrested following an investigation by Egypt's Administrative Control Authority cybercrime unit and the Health Ministry.

The criminal network operated fake websites and social media accounts impersonating the official government initiative to deceive couples.

Seized evidence included forged documents, counterfeit stamps, computers, printers and cash linked to the fraudulent operation.
