A meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) was held at the District Collectorate to review the progress of Central Sector schemes and Centrally-sponsored schemes in Puducherry.The meeting held under the Chairmanship of Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) V. Vaithilingam reviewed the implementation of schemes under the District Rural Development Agency, departments of Health, Housing, Women and Child Development. The ongoing project to provide piped gas connections was also reviewed, said a legislator.Others who participated in the meeting, included Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) S. Selvaganabathy, Minister P. Rajavelu, legislators belonging to the All India N. R Congress, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam and Neyam Makkal Kazhagam.
