BIG CASE: Mel and Peet Viljoen
Private investigator Mike Bolhuis of Specialised Security Services (SSS) has ditched Mel Viljoen after she helped launch two Backabuddy campaigns for hubby Peet’s legal defence.
This is according to a statement issued this week by Bolhuis in which SSS informed the public, past victims, and the relevant authorities of a “critical and regrettable development” in the ongoing investigations concerning Peet and Mel Viljoen.
This followed an announcement two weeks ago that Mel gave an undertaking that she would give her full cooperation in current investigations relating to the pair.
But following Backabuddy shutting down campaigns aiming to raise R400 000 for Peet’s legal fund in his Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court battle against fraud-related charges, Bolhuis is done with the pair.
