Police bodycam footage shows the moment reality TV couple Mel and Peet Viljoen were arrested in Boca Raton, Florida, over alleged retail theft charges.
Private investigator Mike Bolhuis has cut ties with Mel Viljoen, accusing her of acting independently after she launched fundraising campaigns for her husband Peet Viljoen’s legal defence without consulting his team.
This is according to a statement issued this week by Bolhuis in which SSS informed the public, past victims, and the relevant authorities of a “critical and regrettable development” in the ongoing investigations concerning Peet and Mel Viljoen.
This followed an announcement two weeks ago that Mel gave an undertaking that she would give her full cooperation in current investigations relating to the pair.
But following Back-a-Buddy shutting down campaigns aiming to raise R400 000 for Peet’s legal fund in his Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court battle against a klompie fraud-related charges, Bolhuis is klaar with the pair.
