The Public Relations and Advertising Department of the IRGC’s Vali-e Asr Corps in Khuzestan announced the deaths of three Islamic Republic armed forces personnel following U.S. airstrikes on Abadan County.
In a statement published on Monday, July 13, the Khuzestan IRGC Public Relations Department identified the deceased as Iraj Sardarpour, Asghar Sardarpour, and Ali Tajbakhsh.
According to the announcement, all three individuals were residents of Gotvand County in Khuzestan Province.
Following the Islamic Republic’s attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States has carried out heavy strikes against Islamic Republic positions over the past three days. These attacks have primarily focused on the Islamic Republic’s military facilities along Iran’s southern coastline.
