Greece is set to introduce new debt settlement tools for outstanding obligations to the state, social security funds and financial institutions.

The Finance Ministry announcing the timetable for the activation of measures covering debts, loans and primary residence protection.

A new repayment scheme of up to 72 installments will cover debts to the state incurred up to December 31, 2023.

The platform for debts to the Single Social Security Entity (EFKA) is already operational, while the corresponding platform of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) is expected to launch by July 20.

The upgraded out-of-court debt settlement mechanism will begin on July 26.
