As many as 99 trainees joined the District Armed Reserve at the passing-out parade of the 14th batch of Armed Reserve Police Constables at the Temporary Police Training School in Udupi on Monday.After receiving the guard of honour at the parade, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Western Range, Amit Singh, said the trainees, who had completed 10 months of training, should dedicate themselves to serving people. Service, sacrifice, and commitment should be the purpose of life, he said. The change in personality before and after training would be immediately noticeable.
