Meta pulled a key feature of its new Muse Image AI tool, just days after launch.

The company acknowledged in an online update that Muse Image would no longer be able to generate images from user content on Instagram.

The feature worked by enabling Muse Image users to tag public-facing accounts on Instagram and then use content from these accounts to create AI-altered images of their own. The owners of the accounts would not be made aware if their content was taken and altered.
