The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Bayo Ojulari, has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to repositioning itself beyond oil and gas production, saying it is evolving into a platform that connects investment, technology, policy and talent to drive sustainable energy development in Nigeria and across Africa.
Ojulari stated this in a statement on Monday, while reflecting on NNPC Ltd.’s participation at the 2026 Nigeria Oil and Gas Energy Week, where the company showcased its strategy for strengthening partnerships and advancing the continent’s energy sector.
NOG Energy Week is Nigeria’s flagship annual energy conference, bringing together policymakers, regulators, international oil companies, indigenous operators, investors and technology providers to discuss investment opportunities, energy security, decarbonisation, gas development and the future of Africa’s energy industry.
This year’s edition focused on expanding collaboration and attracting investment into the sector amid ongoing reforms by the Federal Government.
