Investigation Directorate for Allegations of Corruption (IDAC) head Advocate Andrea Johnson is expected to face tough questions when she appears before the Madlanga Commission this week following allegations of misconduct.
According to reports, Senior investigator Brian Padayachee is also set to appear before the commission.
This comes as the Activists and Citizens Forum is pushing for immediate action against Johnson and senior investigator Sunil Belochan over corruption and extortion allegations.
The extortion allegations involved Pakistani shopkeepers in the Eastern Cape, which dated back to the early 2000s, which were brought to light during the testimony of Witness N at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on Friday.
