Ukraine launched another wave of long-range drone strikes overnight, with Russian authorities reporting attacks on energy and industrial facilities in Stavropol and Krasnodar Krais, while dozens of drones targeted the Moscow region.Residents of Stavropol Krai reported explosions and a large fire early Monday, July 13, while Governor Vladimir Vladimirov said Russian air defenses were repelling drones near the regional capital.JOIN US ON TELEGRAMFollow our coverage of the war on the @Kyivpost_official.“As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the industrial zone in the village of Vyazniki, Shpakovsky District,” Vladimirov wrote on Telegram, adding that there were no reported casualties.Later, Russian outlet Astra, citing its OSINT team, identified the burning facility as an oil depot near the railway station in Vyazniki.
According to the publication, it was the second oil depot in the village targeted within a week. Another depot, identified as belonging to Rosneft-Stavropol Oil Company, was struck during a Ukrainian drone attack on July 9.
Meanwhile, authorities in Krasnodar Krai said a drone attack sparked a fire at an industrial facility in the Temryuk district.Officials also reported damage to a private home in the village of Ilyich after drone debris fell on the property, while fragments damaged a company hangar in the Belorechensky district. No casualties were reported.Astra said NASA’s FIRMS satellite monitoring system detected heat anomalies near the Port Kavkaz area, where the Universal Bulk Chemical Terminal (UNHT LLC) is located.
