A woman was killed in a shooting in Durban North on Sunday evening, while a delivery biker and a child were also injured, according to ALS Paramedics.
ALS Paramedics said its crews responded shortly after 5.30pm to a shooting on Blackburn Road near Park Road.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said that upon arrival, paramedics found multiple security personnel and SAPS officers already on the scene, with the road closed to traffic.
Paramedics were directed to a vehicle riddled with bullet holes, where they found a woman, believed to be in her 40s, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
She was declared dead at the scene after paramedics found there was nothing they could do to save her.
